Icynene is custom made at your project site from combining liquid components manufactured and supplied by Icynene Inc.It is then installed by our certified licensed technicians. The liquid is applied to the wall/ceiling/floor cavity where it then expands 100 times its liquid volume. In just a few seconds Icynene bonds directly with the substrate while providing a flexible open celled barrier that eliminates virtually all air and moisture movement. Every crack and crevice is now sealed from air infiltration.

We are Approved for Direct Roof Spray in Massachusetts !!!
This means you can now use an Unventilated Roof System.
No prop vents, ridge vent or soffit vent are needed. We can spray directly to the back side of the roof sheathing from exterior plates to the ridge line without the need for any traditional ventilation system. Now that you've sealed up your home you need to make sure there is an adequate supply of fresh air to your indoor environment. If you completely seal your envelope with Icynene then we would strongly recommend the use of a "Fresh Air System". They are simple to install and range in value and effectiveness. Please consult with your HVAC contractor about implementing one in your home. We also have information on stand alone fresh air systems available at our downloads page.
