DIRECT ROOF SPRAY OR ATTIC FLOOR

According to the US Department of Energy, up to 80% of your home's energy loss could happen through your attic. Enviro Safe Foam Insulation Company has two methods for insulating an attic.

Direct Roof Spray (Slopes and Gables)

This method involves spraying the actual slopes and gables of the attic with 10-14 inches (R38-R49) of our open cell foam insulation or 5-7 inches (R38-R49) of our closed cell foam insulation. In this method, the open or closed cell foam creates a conditioned space
in the attic. This is by far the most efficient way of insulating an attic. This method is used when a home has HVAC systems, ductwork, or plumbing that needs to be in a conditioned space. This method also allows the attic to be used for storage space, essentially adding square footage to your home.

Attic Floor

In this method, the existing insulation is removed from the floor of the attic and replaced with 10-14 inches (R38-R49) of our open cell foam insulation or 5-7 inches (R38-R49) of our closed cell foam insulation. This method is used when the attic above is “dead space,” meaning there is no HVAC system, ductwork, or plumbing that need to be in a conditioned space.
